We've had the best time birdwatching from the kitchen window for years. I set out water and a few seeds and here they come.

Northern Cardinal |
They'll always show up for a morsel of homemade peanut/raisin suet.
Northern Cardinal |
But since installing this window feeder (no affiliation) recently, we don't have to approach a window to see them, so I'd heartily recommend it if you're a mind to do a li'l bit o' effortless, up-close birdwatching.

Dear Winter, your days are numbered...
They're trying....

Oh, I do love your bluebirds! What a great picture of them enjoying the water dish. That window feeder would be so much fun, too. It would be a treat to see a towhee so up close and personal.
ReplyDeleteBirds are our usual wintertime entertainment. It doesn't take much for us...lol.
Deletewe love and enjoy feeding the birds-never thought of the window feeder-that looks fun
ReplyDeletethose sheep always crack me up haha
Hi Kathy, I love the sheep, too, and am still amazed the farmers actually dye their sheep on the hoof.
DeleteOh, Bluebirds and Cardinals! They look so beautiful in my eyes, colourful little birds contrasting with the winter dull background. Your photos get better and better each time I visit.

ReplyDeleteWe are enjoying the feeder more than I imagined. :)
DeleteHello, I love your birds and the cute window feeder. I would be afraid the squirrels would break that feeder here. The Towhee is a gorgeous bird. Pretty sunset. It is nice to see the daffies, we are having warm temps now but rain today. Have a happy day and weekend!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Eileen. The feeder has really strong suction cups so I hope it endures the rascals (squirrels) when they find it. I'll move it up higher if that happens.
