ReplyDeleteHi Karen, I haven't seen you in a coon's age, Girl..welcome back!
ReplyDeleteUm, I try not to mix business with pleasure (snickers), but I'm a-thinkin' a giveaway could be in the near future if the totes-to-be on my cutting board turn out as well, so keep your eyes peeled for that. :)
I love your new tote bag. Have fun knitting some dishrags. Those are always fun.
ReplyDeleteOh MAN... all my blog friends are signing up and I am trying to stay away. Too much going on around here, someone quick cancel my Internet connection, I am about to click on the link.
ReplyDeleteOh cool! Your tote is wonderful, and hey, it has a waterproof liner!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! What have I gotten myself into??? I really hope the pattern isn't too hard!
ReplyDeleteAnd you know I just LOVE that chicken tote!! It looks great!
Hi Tea!!
ReplyDeleteI just signed up, too!! This sounds just like too much fun to pass up!!
Also, love your bag--it's just awesome--did you have a pattern or just make it up on your own??
Beth
Hi Beth,
ReplyDeleteGlad you're gonna play tag with the rest of us gals. Wouldn't it be fun if we all got on the same team somehow! Here's hoping..
I modeled the bag after the little plastic one in the last picture. A fair amount of time & thinkin' involved even with a model since it's lined, but I really love the size, so it's worth the trouble.
Thanks for all the compliments on it, Y'all!
Tea-just had to tell you--I told two other people about dish rag tag and they've joined also. It looks like Aunt Kathy is losing her determination NOT to join!!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like too much fun to resist!
Beth
Thanks for the heads up on the Dish Rag Tag, I'm in!! However, I can not get the little button onto my blog!! Argh!! Hope the pattern isn't that hard! :)
ReplyDeleteSuzanne
Cute tote! I use totes all the time. Everytime hubby goes to Convention or a seminar etc he gets one, so have them in all shapes and sizes and colors and never run out of uses for them. Gote 3 with me on this trip, each with different yarn and projects.
ReplyDeletePopped over from lil knitter's page to say hi. Always fun to meet new folks.
Stop in for a visit, welcome mats always out.
Sandy
I LOVE your cute chicken tote. The bottom is wonderful and very clever. I sure wish I could sew like that :)
ReplyDeleteHurray for Dish Rag Tag -- Look forward to teaming up with you (and I've really enjoyed cruising through your blog, LOVE those tote bags and your *lace* ring too!).
ReplyDeleteLovely totes! Is there a pattern or was it improvised?
ReplyDeleteI'm in the race too! Let the race begin!
I didn't know about Dish Rag Tag. Looks like it's too late for me to sign up. Maybe next year. Thanks for posting the info., though.
ReplyDeleteHope your time-out ends soon.
Is this your own pattern? I love this. I have been thinking I need to take enviro friendly bags to the store but I don't want those ugly things that the stores sells, especially the ones that say walmart.
