Pouf Pouf

What do we do when it's too cold to go anywhere? Crochet a decadent tea cosy. Goodman says the teapot has a big hair-do now. It's big, pouf-y and much ado; a very cool pattern. You can find the free pattern, Scalloped Tea Cosy here. I was curious about the number of trebles in this pattern so I did the math. 1,728 trebles.
Hope you're nice and cosy, too.

I love this! It's like a purple pinapple made of yarn hugging a teapot. :-D

I made one of these a few months ago for a lady - I was surprised at how easy it was once I got going! It looks so complicated, but once you see it taking shape, it goes much easier than I would have thought to begin with. I just love this cozy! Now I need to make one for myself! :) Thanks for sharing - yours turned out FANTASTIC! I love the colors you used...

Very cute and I see the spout. Wish I could do this, too late I have arthritis in my right hand. Thank you for coming by and leaving a comment.

Alhana's right, it does look like a purple pineapple. You're right, it is quite decadent. Is that the old british castles pot? I don't even recognize it.

Love this. I think it is my favorite. I enjoyed your Cades Cove pictures. I live in Middle Tennessee. We go to Gatlinburg for a nice weekend getaway every now and then.
