Classic Bath Mat

Garter stitch using double worsted yarn quickly knits into a very thick and very thirsty bath mat. The seed stitch band adds a decorative, classic border.

Guage: 12 stitches  = 4 inches

Materials:
4 stitch markers
Size 10 US – 47 inch circular knitting needles
16 ozs. Double worsted weight cotton yarn or 16 ozs. worsted weight cotton yarn

Notes:
If using worsted weight yarn hold two strands together while knitting.
Consider buying a cone or two of yarn so there will be fewer ends to weave in when you're done knitting.
