Baa, Baa, Baa-ble

Baa-ble Hat, that is.  I don't know when I've seen a cuter hat pattern.  And lo, it's a free pattern that you can get by clicking here.
This gorgeous pattern is by Donna Smith - Pattern Photo
I made the one below using  avocado, off-white and navy Wool-Ease yarns.

It's been a while since I've done stranded knitting so I'm sure that shows, but it was a fun knit, anyways.

Food talk:  This was delicious; I cooked a small package, 8 ozs. of Baby Bella mushrooms for five minutes in 1/4 cup of grape flavored kombucha.   I normally fry mushrooms in butter, but this was a nice change.  Just a little kombucha gives mushrooms a wonderful flavor boost.

They're excellent for breakfast served with your favorite omelette and toast.

Carolina Wren wondering where all the black oil sunflower seeds went.
Looks like we're in for another round of winter for a few days.  Maybe I'll get to wear my hat.  Have a great week, y'all.  :)
