Fall Y'all

Greetings from the hills. We're finally catching cooler winds and temperatures.

I've not knit a stitch just lately, but I have plans for another shawl, and this one will be knitted rather than crocheted. Traveling Woman at Ravelry has caught my eye, and I want to use this yarn for it.

We made our annual trek to the apple orchard, and I bought some apples for making caramel apples with the grandgals and some for pies, but this Indian corn is my prize from the trip. I'm liking the colors and thinking about growing my own next year.

Have a great week, Y'all!

  1. Isn't it a lovely season? The best of all if you ask me! Those caramel apples are tempting me, I have only tasted them once in my life.
The shawl you chose for your next project is really beautiful. Sadly my knitting skills are not enough to make such complicated stitches, I am still struggling with the ribbed socks and the almost plain cardigan.
    Have a wonderful week! :-)

  2. mmmmmmm, caramel apples! indian corn! I love them all. Autumn is my favouritey time of year.

Your yarn is so pretty and the shawl pattern is gorgeous.

    Happy autumn week to you!

  3. Ahhhh, you're makin' me jealous, with your indian corn, Mum. The apples look good, I like caramel but I hate what it does in my teeth. I'd comment
on the shawl, but I don't have a
    ravelry ID. The yarn's pretty,

  4. Caramel apples! I'm jealous. :)

  5. Indian corn and a handblown glass pumpkin to celebrate the season. And some good yarn on the side. Perfect.
